Erika Hall MS, CCC- Speech Language Pathologist

I am a licensed speech language pathologist located in western WI (River Falls). I graduated from University of North Dakota with an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders. From there, I went on to earn a master's degree from University of Wisconsin- River Falls in Speech/ Language Pathology.

I am currently a part time Educational Speech Language Pathologist in the school setting; working with children' speech development (ages 3-7); though I have experience with children ages 3- 21. I am also the owner of Speech Remedies LLC and have the opportunity to provide in-home speech therapy to children and their families in homes, daycares, out in the community, and contracting with other clinics and schools in the surrounding areas. Over the past several years I have experience working with a wide variety of disabilities in different settings. My passion is providing speech therapy for kids in the early childhood/ elementary age range during natural play opportunities. My favorite play-based speech therapy to provide is articulation, apraxia, language, fluency, and social skills. My goal as a speech/ language pathologist is to provide children's speech therapy targeting developmentally appropriate skills in natural environments.

When I am not providing children's speech therapy, I love spending time with my husband, two daughters, and puppy along with extended family and friends. I enjoy watching professional hockey, going to gymnastics with my daughter, anything comedy, and making memories with my family.

I am a licensed speech-language pathologist located in Bloomington, MN. I grew up in River Falls, WI and continue to be in love with that area as well. I graduated with my undergraduate and graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

My previous work experiences include one year in a school setting and seven years in pediatric outpatient clinics providing children's speech therapy. Other work experiences include hospital inpatient and outpatient setting for adults. The primary population I have served in my career includes birth through middle school age with a focus on 18 months to four years of age.

I have served a very diverse array of abilities and disorders in my practice. My passions include articulation, oral motor difficulties, feeding/swallowing, and early language learners. I have ample experience with children diagnosed with Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders, dysphagia, stuttering, and chromosomal abnormalities. My goal as a speech-language pathologist is to work with families and children to build a treatment plan that targets goals working toward improving children's speech development (feeding and communication skills). The best part of my job is being able to work with families on how to implement different strategies and skills into daily life, and the second-best part of my job is seeing the progress children make!

In my free time, you can find me spending time with my husband and two children. We enjoy being outdoors, playing games, and spending time in the River Falls countryside with our extended family.

I grew up in eastern Wisconsin but have lived in Minnesota for nearly 20 years, currently in the east metro of the Twin Cities. I earned my bachelor’s in Mass Communication - Journalism from Winona State University and spent 15 years as a newspaper journalist before returning to school to pursue speech-language pathology. I completed the post-baccalaureate program and earned my master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls.

I have clinical experience with both pediatric and adult populations in private-practice and hospital settings. I have a special interest in early language development, cognitive communication, and feeding/swallowing. I am committed to fostering an open, inclusive therapeutic relationship built on trust, and I enjoy working with my clients and their families as a team to facilitate children's speech development.

In my free time, I enjoy tending my indoor and outdoor plants, hiking and discovering new ice cream shops with my husband and snuggling our two sweet pups.

I grew up in Alexandria, Minnesota. I earned both my bachelor's in Speech Language Hearing Sciences and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

I have clinical experience with both pediatric and adult populations in the medical, private practice, and school settings. I also have prior experience working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Fargo, North Dakota. As an SLPA, I provided speech and language therapy services to children in the school, home, and daycare settings. I have a special interest in articulation/phonology, language development, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). My passion is to help children reach their fullest potential and be able to communicate with their peers and loved ones. I enjoy building strong connections with my clients and their families. I believe providing therapy services in the child’s natural environment is the best way for them to learn and grow in their development of speech and language skills.

When I am not providing children’s speech therapy, I love spending time with my fiancé, family, and friends. I enjoy being on the lake, going camping, playing volleyball, listening to podcasts, and traveling.
